Worth Knowing: Police HAVE POSTPONED active threat simulation on South Main Street in West Lebanon tomorrow and Wednesday
Earlier this afternoon Worth Knowing reported that the Lebanon Police Department was going to be conducting Active Threat Response Training tomorrow and Wednesday in West Lebanon. We've just been informed that this training has been postponed in recognition of election day tomorrow among other reasons.
Earlier post that is now incorrect: On November 6th and 7th the Lebanon Police Department will be conducting Active Threat Response Training at 18 South Main Street in West Lebanon. This training will occur during business hours. There will be a large police presence at the residence during the training. Officers will be moving around outside and inside the building with simulated weapons and protective head gear. There is no anticipated impact on traffic or local businesses. People are no doubt still unnerved by the shooting on Friday night in Hanover. Please make sure to quell any rumors about this activity if they start! This is a training exercise.
