Lebanon Police Investigating Reports of Gunshots

In Area of N. Main St. and Fountain Way

On November 2, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the Lebanon Police Department received multiple calls reporting gunshots in the area of North Main Street and Fountain Way. Lebanon Police Officers responded to the area to investigate, said Lebanon Police Chief Richard Mello in a statement.

“This incident remains under investigation,” said Mello. “The Lebanon Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen a suspicious vehicle or individuals, or has any information, to contact the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212.” 

The Lebanon Police Department also reported that two were arrested after a motor vehicle pursuit. 

On November 2, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Sgt. Rich Norris observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot of the Boston Lot Lake on Route 10 in Lebanon. Norris attempted to investigate the vehicle, the vehicle fled north on Route 10 and attempted to evade the officer. According to the police, the vehicle, a Black 2010 Ford Fusion, later crashed on Oak Ridge Road after the brief pursuit. 

A 17-year-old male and a 22-year-old male were taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Lebanon Police Department for processing. Neither subject was injured in the crash. The Lebanon Police Department is continuing to investigate this matter.
