Come donate, volunteer and get free clothes!
The Upper Valley Community Clothing Swap at the Bugbee Senior Center in White River Junction is this weekend. Donations of good used clothing, shoes and accessories - and especially warm, winter clothes - will be gratefully received on Saturday at the Bugbee Senior Center from 10 am to 2 pm.
Volunteers needed to sort and fold donations and get everything ready for . . . . drum roll . . . . free shopping day on Sunday!
Free shopping day is Sunday, November 4 from 10 am to 2 pm. Come choose new-to-you clothes for the whole family. Doors open promptly at 10am. Bring your own bags, or use the ones saved from donations.
There will also be a FOOD COLLECTION for the UPPER VALLEY HAVEN. Gratefully accepting on-perishable food donations for the pantry at the Haven, which serves many Upper Valley families year-round. Needed items include toiletries for men and women, as well as Cereal (hot and cold), Peanut butter, Tuna, Pasta of all kinds, Canned vegetables, Dry or evaporated milk, Pasta sauce, Soups or broths, Canned tomatoes, Macaroni & cheese, Red kidney beans, Black beans, Chickpeas, Dried beans, lentils, peas, and Canned fruit.
Please come to the Bugbee Senior Center to donate things or volunteer to sort things on Saturday and then come back on Sunday to shop for free clothes and bring food items for the food drive! So many things to do!
