Worth Knowing: Hartford Chamber offering members access to variety of health insurance plans
The Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce (HACC) is pleased to announce that its members will once again have access to a variety of health insurance plans through the Vermont Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACE). BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont will provide three plans to businesses with up to 100 employees: the VACE Advantage 100 percent Health Savings Account, the VACE Advantage Copay, and the VACE Advantage Copay HSA.
“We are pleased to be able to offer our members access to these competitive health insurance plans. These options will give our small business members the opportunity to add value to their benefit packages, which will help them recruit employees in this tight labor market.” said PJ Skehan Executive Director of the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce. He also stated, “These insurance plans will be especially attractive to independent contractors, sole proprietors, young professionals and employee-based companies from 1 to 100.”
Interested businesses may contact the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce for more detailed information on the insurance plans or details on how to join the Chamber. The 2019 VACE Health information and enrollment forms are now posted on the website, linked here: here. All dental and vision information for 2019 is also on the website. Open enrollment for the plans begins on November 1 and ends December 14, 2018.
