Come to the Quechee Library at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, October 23 for a chance to meet Hartford’s new Director of Public Works, and Geoff Martin, Hartford’s Energy Coordinator.  In the face of climate change challenges, what additional steps, materials, plans are begin taken or considered here. What to do about prolonged and heavy rains, microbursts, snow, more power outages?

After light refreshments, there will be a showing of a film chapter from NOVA’s documentary that helps define the workings of the weather and climate machine called Earth and illustrates the quest by global scientists to find a way forward. Site is downstairs at Quechee Library.
