In collaboration with Northern Stage, WRIF presents this special screening of Anne Macksoud's Seeing Through the Wall. Directed by Anne Macksoud of Woodstock’s Old Dog Documentaries, the film is about Rabbi Dov Taylor's trip to Israel and Palestine with a group of Americans. The purpose of the trip was to introduce tour members to Palestinians living in the Occupied Territories and East Jerusalem, or as Rabbi Taylor put it, “I wanted Americans, and American Jews in particular, to have the opportunity to meet and get to know some Palestinians as human beings, just like themselves, with the same hopes and fears and dreams.” Seeing Through the Wall is a look at the everyday life of Palestinians and invites viewers to question assumptions.

Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Lemal Community Room at the Barrette Center for the Arts, White RiverJunction.
