When Joe sends me an email, it is usually to announce a new book coming from Delphinium Books where he is Executive Editor, but a few months ago, he let me know that he has written another Vermont mystery! It has been six years since Cloudland - set here in the Upper Valley - was published

That Luc Flanders vanished after a game of pond hockey in western Vermont is not in dispute. Did he go off-grid by choice or was he the victim of foul play? Did a secret relationship with an older man play a role in his disappearance? And is it connected with the vandalisation of the Frost Place?

Founded in 1986, Delphinium Books is committed to publishing original, important voices in contemporary society, both fiction and non-fiction. Their first book, Delphinium Blossoms, was an anthology featuring Grace Paley, E.L. Doctorow, Russell Banks as well as numerous first-time writers -another connection to the Upper Valley!
