The Upper Valley Curling Club will hold a Learn to Curl Clinic at the Barwood Arena in White River Junction on Saturday, October 27th from 5:45 to 8:00 pm. Experienced curlers will teach the basic elements of curling and students will get to practice on the ice. If there’s time they will get to play a short game. The club will provide all equipment, students just have to wear warm clothes and bring shoes with non-skid soles. Registration is required at https://uppervalleycurling.org. Space is limited, so sign up early!
During the Winter Olympics earlier this year many people watched the fast growing sport of curling. While it is easy to understand curling, to truly appreciate the game you have to experience it.
The Upper Valley Club plays regularly at the Barwood Arena and the club members want to share the game. Clinics cost $25 per person for two hours of instruction and fun. For more information about the curling club please go to www.uppervalleycurling.org. For more information about the clinic, please email email@example.com. The Barwood Arena is located behind the high school in White River Junction at 45 Highland Ave.
