Worth Knowing: Ever wanted to learn how to make hard cider? Here's your chance.

Riverview Farm Hard Cider Course

Riverview Farm in Plainfield is offering a short course on making hard cider on Tuesday, October 2 @ 7 pm – 8 pm. Bill Waste, a 20 year veteran home cider maker, will lead the sessions with input from Riverview’s own, Steve Jevons. Attendees will get a simple hands on demonstration (and written instructions) on getting started and will be provided a 6 gal. glass carboy filled with cider and all the necessary items (airlock, and various yeasts and additives) for a successful brew.

Class size is limited so you must pre-register.

Total cost for course and materials is $135.
