HomeGoods opened on Sunday in West Lebanon. If you can judge Upper Valley interest by the number of cars in the parking lot, then there's a lot of interest in the new 12A resident. On Sunday afternoon it was hard to find a space to park, and on Monday afternoon there were still only a couple of open spaces. An investigation inside revealed about 35 people milling around in the aisles filled with kitchenware, baskets, storage containers, Halloween and fall decorative items, children's toys and furnishings, bed and bath supplies, food, lighting, artwork, furniture, rugs, pillows and so on. More people were looking at all of the home goods than buying them. The Upper Valley seems to be giving HomeGoods a warm welcome.
