Dana Hurley is a Yoga Instructor, Massage Therapist, Shamanic Reiki Practitioner and holds a B.A. in Fine Art from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. She recently moved to the area last fall from Pennsylvania with her young daughter and fiancé. She found the benefits of aerial yoga and barefoot massage helped speed up her recovery from giving birth and martial arts injuries. She is licensed in New Hampshire for massage and holds certifications in Sarga bodywork, Advanced Ashiatsu Deepfeet Therapy, Myofascial release, Cranial Fascial Therapy, Thai massage, and Orthopedic assessment. She holds a second degree black belt in Kenpo and is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She is certified in Transcend Aerial Yoga and is finishing her training as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist through the Himalayan Institute.  She uses her massage background in her approach to her yoga classes because she believes the best healing is done by the individual. She is excited to be welcomed onto the Open Door team and looks forward to contributing to the healing atmosphere any way she can.
