Calling all locals!! Farmers' is a great place to work! Whether its full time or part time we provide a nurturing place to work-be it supplemental income/2nd job or as a primary wage earner.

Celebrating our 27th year, we feed our community in many ways: First, we hire good people who care deeply about great service. Second, we carefully source outstanding food from all over the country as well as from Vermont food artisans who know where their ingredients are coming from-whether it be grains, fresh meats, seafood, dairy, cheese or produce. And third, we provide our community important connections to the local food chain and feel we are your advocate for great food and food advice.

General Qualifications and Information:

  • Must have love of food, great service skills with the ability to communicate with guests and staff, good judgement and good stamina. These positions require lots of movement-bending, lifting as well as standing upright so he/she must be in good physical shape.  We are very busy-the day goes by fast but it's strenuous (and fun!)
  • At least one weekend day is required. Holidays and summer time are our busiest times and require planning and commitment. Early morning (6:30 AM) shifts and early evening shifts (till 8 pm) are required.
  • Compensation/Hiring Guide: Depends on experience. There are great perks too:  free Market lunch every day; 20% staff discount, health benefits, open book finance, gain share, Simple IRA, gym membership and more.
