Ever have a hankering to try moose? Or beaver? You've never actually tried wild turkey? Here's your chance. Steve Garrow will be slinging game on October 13 at the 15th Annual Wild Game Supper at the West Fairlee Church on Route 113 from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

What's on the menu? Moose, deer, bear, beaver, wild turkey, rabbit, and wild boar. There will also be brown sugar ribs, corn smoked ribs, traditional native turkey, and heaps of vegetables like fiddleheads and parsnips. Plus desserts! There is so much food that it's going to take 25 people to cook and serve it, says Garrow, who has run this event for the past 14 years.

People come from far and wide for this event. Garrow is expecting around 200 this year. Since there are only 100 seats at the church, either get there early or come for the second seating.

Tickets are $23.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids aged 7 to 12a and are by reservation only. Mail a check to the Union Meeting House, c/o Steve Garrow, 5636 VT Route 113, Vershire, VT 05079. Call the West Fairlee Church at 802-333-4748 or Garrow at 802-685-3141 if you've got questions.
