Time to Learn to Knit!
A three session course offered by the Sew Op at the Upper Valley Food Co-op
Wednesdays, Sept. 26, Oct 3, and Oct 10; 5:30-7:30
In this beginning knitter course students will learn the basics of knitting: Casting on, knit and purl stitch, increase and decrease stitches, as well as binding off their work. While learning to improve knitting skills, students should be able to complete their project by the end of this three part series. Your instructors have been knitting for years! Geri Williams is a lifelong knitter and teacher & Peggy Allen raises sheep for their wool, loves fiber, and has also been knitting forever!
Registration Required. Class is open to adults 14 and up. Two student minimum to hold this series. The cost for this three part series is $30 for members or $35 for non-members. This includes a $10 material fee for your new knitting needles. Registration closes 48 hours prior to the start of the class.
