I can't seem to find words to describe NIA fitness dance. Best thing is to experience it! So the first two classes of the fall term will be free!
Nia fitness dance is based on the idea that exercise should feel good inside and out. Nia is a cardio dance group fitness class that incorporates martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. Nia is FUN!! Nia empowers people of all shapes and sizes to connect to their body, mind, emotions and spirit by paying attention to sensation. Every class can be adapted to individual needs and abilities.
Like I said, it's hard to describe!
The ten-week class runs from September 18 - December 6, 2018, and is offered through FLIP (Fitness and Lifestyle Improvement Program), a program based at Dartmouth College but open to community members as well as those associated with the college.
