An honor for a Charter Lion member

On September 12, 2018 at 6:00 PM, a dedication of the Flagpole and Marker at the Police/fire Safety facility was held to honor James R. Southworth who was a charter member of the Norwich Lions Club.

Phil Wheeler, Past district Governor(PDG) State of Vermont-Lions District 45  served as the Master of Cermony for this event.

Honored Guests were :

Peg Southworth and Tom Southworth, Herb Durfee III, Norwich Town manager, Miranda Bergmeier, Norwich Select Board members, John Pepper, John Langhus, Linda Cook, Mary Layton, and Claudette Brochu, Douglas A. Robinson Chief of Police, Alexander Northern Fire Chief, First Responders, Police Officers and Fire Fighters, Norwich Lions Club members and , Norwich residents and general public.
