Come to the Hanover Area Farmers' Market for free cooking demonstrations every Wednesday in September! Local chef and culinary instructor Holly Pierce will shop for farm-fresh ingredients and show market-goers how to use them in delicious, homemade recipes, with free samples to boot! Cooking demos will be held throughout September every Wednesday from 3-6 pm on the green.
A project of Vital Communities’ Upper Valley Farmers’ Market Collaborative, the demo series seeks to support local farmers by helping local consumers find new ways to enjoy local food. Produce, meat, dairy, and other goods abound at area farmers’ markets this time of year—come get a peek into a professional chef’s approach, and bring home helpful kitchen tips, too! The live demos will offer audiences of all ages the inspiration and information they need to expand their palette of local foods and recipe ideas for easy and delicious meals.
