Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a privately held national retail chain of craft and home decor stores, will open its Claremont store with a ribbon cutting ceremony and official grand opening celebration on Monday, September 3, at 9:00 a.m. The Claremont store, located in the former Kmart space, is Hobby Lobby’s sixth location in New Hampshire. Tina Cremple is the store manager of the 52,000 square-foot retail facility located at 367 Washington Street. The store’s grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is open to the public. The chain has signed a 10-year lease on the Washington Street property.
“The success of our stores in New Hampshire is a good indicator that Claremont shoppers will be pleased with the quality, selection and value we offer in the craft and home decor market,” stated Kelly Black, Director of Advertising.
Hobby Lobby has over 800 stores across the country. According to the company, each location offers more than 70,000 crafting and home decor products, including floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, wearable art, arts and crafts, jewelry making, scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sunday. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., is based in Oklahoma City. It is the nation’s largest privately-owned arts and crafts retailer.
