1st annual event will be 12:00 noon on September 30 at Storrs Pond

The Norwich Lions Club will be sponsoring a 5K road race thanks to the efforts of Lion Jim Eakin who organized the event and King Lion Warren Thayer  who gave the approval with his mighty gavel at a recent Lions Club meeting. Here are the details:

1st Annual Lions Club  5K Race
When: 12pm (noon),  Sunday, September 30, 2018
Where: Storrs Pond Recreational Area, Hanover, NH.
Registration begins at 10:30 am at Storrs Pond Area 1.
Entry forms can be completed on site on race day or available online at  
If downloading entry, please bringthe completed form to the race. To reduce the cost to the 
participants, there will be no on-line registration. 

Cost: $5 for 17 and under. $20 for adults
Checks payable to the Norwich Lions Club

Awards: Top 25 male and female runners receive 

The 5k course is run over the beautiful, but challenging Storrs Pond trails.
Start and finish will be at Area 1 near the picnic pavilion.
Parking available near the pond and swimming pool.

All proceeds will go to the Norwich Lions Club Community service fund which has provided community service for over 60 years.  Please check your schedules to see if you may want to participate in this worthwhile cause. You will be helping yourself stay fit and also help support others in need.
