Babes Bar Brings life to Downtown Bethel
Music, Movies and More
Bethel, Vermont is getting hipper by the day, with a renewed energy bringing energy to downtown spaces. Babes bar, a new bar opened up by Jesse Plotsky and Owen Daniel McCarter this spring is bringing some life to downtown Bethel's nightlife.
Formerly the Bethel Depot, a dark dive in an historic old train depot, now Babes Bar is bright, and inviting for people of all ages. On top of great cocktails, (local brews and the cheaper options as well,) they even feature a kids table with oversized legos, and an upstairs space for tv, or video gaming. An unnecessary interior wall was opened up brightening up the space to reveal a beautiful old building, greatly suited for live music. They're booking music on Sunday afternoons, and the occasional weekend night.
