In addition to the community members, the committee will be comprised of two Norwich School Board members, Superintendent Jay Badams, teachers and support staff from the Marion Cross School, and one other principal from the Dresden District.
The deadline for community members to apply to be on the committee is August 29. If interested, below is an excerpt from an August 9th listserv post by Norwich School Board Chair Tom Candon:
The committee also will include two members of the Norwich community, and the Board requests applications from community members who are interested in helping us work through this important decision for our town. The majority of the committee’s work will take place from mid-October to mid-December.
To apply, please send an email of interest to Tom Candon, Norwich School Board Chair, at email@example.com. In your message, please briefly note why you are interested in serving, what qualifications you might have to offer the committee, and what qualities you hope to see in the next principal of the Marion Cross School. Applications are due by August 29, 2018. Committee members will be selected during the September meeting of the Norwich School Board on September 5, 2018
