What to Eat, Drink and See This Weekend // August 17-19

Submitted 4 months ago

Like craft beer 🍻 live music 🎷 local eats 🍜 and fair rides 🎡? Good because there is no shortage of these things this weekend. Here's the rundown:

Cornish Fair - Starts on Friday at 7am in Cornish, NH

With the mere utterance of the word “fair” comes the overwhelming desire to consume fried dough. At least for me. Whether or not fried dough is your first love - there will also be rides, exhibits, live music from Ida Mae Specker, The Shana Stack Band, Oxford & Clark and more!

What do 12 nano-breweries, 4 food trucks, and 2 bluegrass bands equal? One perfect Saturday!

2nd Annual Rotary Brewfest - Starts on Saturday at 12pm in Lebanon, NH

Two brewfests in one weekend? What is this world we live in? If you can’t make it to Nano Fest in Tunbridge, the Lebanon Rotary Club will also be hosting one in Colburn Park. Sample beers from 20 different breweries. Profits will go to support the Rotary Club of Lebanon.

Braintree Bluegrass Brunch - Starts on Sunday at 11am in Braintree, VT

The third and final Bluegrass Brunch will feature the folk-rock stylings of the Bow Thayer Trio, a delicious brunch menu provided by Black Krim Tavern, and beloved Bent Hill Brewery's bountiful selection of beers. If you really want to work for your brunch — there will also be a bike ride starting at 8am!

Welcome to "Interested." This is a blog for those who love local eats, booze, live music and don't mind traveling down 91, up 89, over to Rt. 4 etc.. -- especially for a view of some mountains, a patio or a pop-up.
