Lebanon Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening with a Machete
Charged with Class B Felony
On August 6, at approximately 4:20 PM, the Lebanon Police Department received a report of an altercation at the Circle K gas pumps located at 89 Main Street. Additional information received from multiple callers was that the male was now allegedly threatening people with a machete.
According to the Lebanon Police Department, arriving officers spoke with several witnesses who stated that a male, later identified as Dana R. Lund, age 55, of Butternut Lane in Lebanon, had been involved in an argument at the gas pumps. Witnesses stated that Lund then allegedly retrieved a machete from his pickup truck and began to waive it around at several people in a threatening manner before entering the store. Lund was subsequently taken into custody without incident upon exiting the store, reported the department.
Lund is charged with one count of Criminal Threatening with a Deadly Weapon, a Class B Felony. He was held overnight at the Grafton County House of Correction on $15,000 cash bail and is expected to be arraigned today in the Grafton County Superior Court.
