Hunter Education Courses With Hartford Rod & Gun Club

Join the Hartford Rod and Gun Club for a hunter safety and education course.  There's a lifetime of satisfaction to be found in the woods of Vermont, and it begins with hunter education.  Would-be hunters, bow hunters and trappers must successfully complete their respective course in order to purchase their first license.  All courses are led by certified volunteer instructors with the Hartford Rod and Gun Club.  The course is FREE, including materialsand the program is open to all ages and levels of experience.  With the Bow Hunting Safety Course, participants are welcome to bring their own bow and field arrows for the course.

Class graduates will leave the hunter education courses with a thorough understanding of how to get a lifetime of enjoyment out of Vermont's magnificent natural resources. Topics covered include:  Introduction to Hunter Education (History, Purpose and sponsors) Firearms and Hunting Safety Hunter Responsibility Personal Preparedness Wildlife Conservation Hunting Opportunities Specialty Hunting Field Day will take place at the Hartford Rod & Gun Club - 463 Wildlife Road, West Hartford VT 05084.

Saturday classes run from 9:00-3:00 p.m.
