Mandalas are circular drawings that extend from a central point. They can be used as mindful meditation, artistic expression, or just to relax. They can be organic and free-form, precise and geometric, or a bit of both. This two-week class will discuss mandalas, their occurrence in human cultures and in nature, and some of the mental and physical benefits of mindful drawing. Then we will learn to draw them! No previous artistic experience or specific skills are required. This program is composed of two meetings on Tuesdays, March 26 and April 2, 9:30 to 11:30am.
