One typewriter left at White River's iconic shop, and it's free. But you'd better hurry!
Twin State Typewriter is about to end its half-century run on South Main Street in White River Junction, and owner Wanda Nalette says there's precisely one machine left — and it's free.
But you'd better hurry.
"We're just cleaning up," Wanda said in a quick phone interview Tuesday morning. "Things are going out the door as we speak."
The shop is officially closed, she said, as it locks its doors and turns over the key to Northern Stage. However, "I have one Silver Reed typewriter." It works great and has extra ribbons.
"If they come and get it, it's free," she said. "But they've got to come get it in the next two hours."
You've got until 1 p.m., folks.
