Caleb Lara brings over a decade of experience to The Quechee Club’s culinary team. Chef Lara came to The Quechee Club from The Essex Resort and Spa in Essex, Vermont. He has also worked as Chef de Cuisine at the renowned Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, Massachusetts, as the Executive Chef at Kemble Inn in Lenox, Massachusetts, and at the Harbor View Hotel on Martha’s Vineyard. Chef Lara has also held positions at Steel & Rye in Milton, Massachusetts, The Ritz Carlton in Boston, The Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida, and Harbor View Hotel.
Caleb is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, New York. He developed his love of the culinary arts while growing up in San Diego, California. Currently, he resides in Lyndonville, Vermont, and will be relocating to the Hartford area.
Chef Lara will oversee the Club’s culinary program and will bring a new vision and energy to the Club’s culinary team focusing on the dining experience, creativity, consistency, sense of place, and seasonality to name a few.
