I have always thought to my self that people who are innocent and poor should not have to sit in Jail until they face whatever charge's they are charged with, I have on my son's behave written a letter explaining to the Judge how much more productive my son would be living and working in the community while awaiting court dates. However, because it is an across the board Bail right now is, the extreme too go across the board for all to have a no Bail system? The issue I see is the violent offenders, the repeat offenders and the slide through the system offenders will create more of a hardship on the community at large!   And yes I know innocent until proven guilty....applies....there must be a middle ground that ensures logic and sustainability.
