In the hunt for the tastiest food trucks in our fair region, folks weren’t shy about sharing their favorites. For some of them, exclamation points piled up like...truffle fries.

These may not be all the food trucks in the Upper Valley, but these are the ones you said were the best ones. And I’m taking your word for it.

The biggest question about food trucks is where to find them on a given day. I’ve done some sleuthing and listed known sightings of each one, but your best bet is to follow them on Facebook (links in the titles below) and keep up on the roving whereabouts of your favorites.

Boisvert’s Curbside Kitchen
Where: Most often found on Lebanon’s Colburn Park, 11am-6:30pm
It could be Boisvert’s is also the answer to “Where’s the best lobster roll in the Upper Valley?” I stand by the fried haddock sandwich, too. Lucky you if you work near the Leb green.

VT Munchies
Where:  Lately spotted on Heater Road in Lebanon, Colburn Hill (near DHMC), at the River Mill in Lebanon, and on Lebanon’s Colburn Park
The menu changes pretty regularly, but you can just about always count on the BBQ Brisket Sandwich and the Maple Korean Street Taco. And truffle fries. OMFG the truffle fries.

Chef Brad’s “Crazy Side”
Where: The Fat Hat Corner on Route 4 in Quechee
If you don’t see the bright yellow camper trailer first, you’ll probably spot the rainbow-colored school bus. Chef Brad’s slinging lamb burgers, lobster rolls, fried oysters, crab cakes, burgers and burritos—to name a few. All of it crazy good.

JUEL Juice + Smoothies
Where: Lebanon Farmers’ Market, Norwich Farmers’ Market, First Fridays in White River Junction
Keep an eye out for JUEL’s much-anticipated storefront opening in WRJ! Till then, stay on the trail of their adorbs little camper, setting up shop and serving all-natural juices and smoothies at local events throughout the summer.

Taco’s Tacos
Where: Lebanon’s Colburn Park, Abracadabra Coffee’s Pop-Up in Woodstock (Sat., 9am-2pm)
“Chorizo Bacon Taco” is all I should really need to write here. But “Chorizo Pulled Pork” and “Street Corn Cup” can’t go unmentioned either. Thank you, Taco’s Tacos, for tacos and more tacos.

Mac’s Sugarhouse
Where: At McNamara Farm on River Road in Plainfield, Upper Valley Nighthawks home games
How could you mean crème de la crème more literally than in reference to McNamara Dairy? Add maple to the mix and you’ve got, for my money, the finest maple creemee in the land. Try to walk away without adding a bag of maple kettle corn to your order, too. It can’t be done.

King Arthur Flour Bake Truck
The master bakers at King Arthur Flour may be in your neighborhood this summer, and maybe you’ll catch the wafting scent of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies before you see the iconic rolling pin-bumpered Bake Truck. Or, know ahead of time where in the world they’ll be.
