Grab your paints and paper and come learn the craft of watercolor painting!!! Beginner to experienced watercolorists welcome, all ages and be sure to bring a friend. Joan will walk you through the basic process, run informative demonstrations, and lend insightful tips to improving your pieces. Supply list, chairs, water, and shade all provided as you create art in the beautiful natural landscape of the museum grounds.
Joan Hoffmann has painted and exhibited her work for over forty years. She recently painted with other outdoor painters at the Norwich Historical Home Tour. She was the 2016 Artist-in-Residence at the Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Historical Park. She has been teaching outdoor painting at unique locations across the country: Pt Reyes National Seashore, University Of San Francisco Field Campus, Bluff, Utah and Steamboat Springs, C,. as well as locally at AVA and Artistree.
