Trail Break: What a Great Place to Dine!

Indoors or out, Trail Break Taps & Tacos is the hot new place in White River Junction to enjoy a great meal in an atmosphere where the youthful vibe offers a rock-solid, heart-thumping, cool-foodie beat. Big screens around the main restaurant show all kinds of extreme sports footage, while outside on the patio you'll now find two chairlifts and a gondola in which to sit and eat (along with more standard seating for the less adventurous.) There's even a special "gondola only" drink called “The Hot Box Time Machine” that people are loving. Note: don't bother trying to get the gondola special drink elixir unless you're actually sitting in the gondola. It's only for true gondola riders.

On the patio, in the gondola, enjoying the special gondola-only drink!

And now, Trail Beak owner Topher Lyons has a Trail Break Food Trailer that he'll tow around just about anywhere to serve up his wonderful fare for you and your gang. And the trailer now has newly-installed beer taps. What could be better?

Te Trail Break Trailer. Getting Trailed all over the place. Now with beer taps installed. Now you can get your taps and tacos on wherever you want!

My favorites? The “(not so) standard” burrito, with a luscious lime-cilantro crema, chicken, black beans and cheese. It's way underpriced at $11 for this generous serving, so better try it before the price goes up. Also the “brave little taco” for dessert. It's a waffle cone shell stuffed with all sorts of tasty desserty-type luscious things. And, try the “chili dusted grilled watermelon” as a side dish. You’ll be happy you did.  All are just WOW tastes that wake you up and pull you right into the Trail Break vibe that rocks! Oh, and any of their 25 or so beers on tap will do just fine by me.
