Awake in the World

A Tuesday night class 6:45 to 8 pm. Drop in, no registration required, no charge but donations are appreciated.

In our speedy, digitally connected, contemporary world, we may feel “disconnected” from our senses. Lost in planning, forecasting, anticipating our next move, we lose the direct experience of being in the moment. This six week course will lead us from mindfulness meditation practice to an exploration of our senses - grounding us in the vivid, magical world we inhabit every moment.

experiencing the brilliance of the bright blue sky, the freshness of
green fields, and the beauty of trees and mountains."
(Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, The Sacred Path of the Warrior)

The class will be led by Shastri Donna Williams. Read a longer discussion about her teachings on this theme: https://shambhalatimes.org/2018/05/23/embodying-earth-energy/
