In response to the national outcry over separation of migrant families at the US-Mexico border, Old South Church is hosting a vigil in the Sanctuary on Main Street.
The community is invited to gather for this time of mediation, silent reflection, and shared, civilly-voiced expressions of lament and outrage. Communities across the nation will be participating in rallies and vigils on Saturday. Here in Vermont a rally was held in Montpelier on Monday night and one is being held in Burlington on Saturday. This is an opportunity for citizens to gather and pause, seeking the spiritual center from which compassion and moral imagination arise. Please join us.
