During the summer the local libraries have special events that are free and most are open to all ages.  You don’t have to be participating in the summer reading program to enjoy.  This year's theme is Libraries Rock.  A lot of the programs are developed for ages 5-11 but some are tailored to teens and others you can take toddlers to.

The events are for the month of July.  I have made a calendar of events for you to choose what is best for you and your family.

The Summer Reading Program

Your child can participate in the summer reading program where they keep track of their reading and work towards a goal and celebrate at the end.

Visit Local Libraries Websites

For more information on summer events at the local libraries, including events for adults, click on their website link.  Not all local libraries are represented. I added Newport, because even though it's not in the Upper Valley - they often have a lot of great programs for kids.
