Lebanon busts suspected drug sale outside Walmart
Haggerty was already out on bail from a previous drug charge
LEBANON - Police responded to a report that a drug sale appeared to have just taken place mid-afternoon Thursday in the parking lot of the Walmart on Plainfield Road and ended up arresting a 31-year-old Lebanon man who was already out on bail due to a previous drug charge.
After officers arrived in the area they located suspect Gregory Haggerty nearby and reported that he was in possession of Suboxone and marijuana.
Police said they were able to determine that Haggerty had allegedly just sold ten strips of Suboxone to another individual.
Haggerty was arrested and charged with felony counts of breach of bail and sale of Suboxone as well as a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana before he was transported to the Grafton County House of Correction pending an arraignment later today at Grafton County Superior Court on the new charges.
