American Precision Museum

1846-1856

The U.S. Government ordered 10,000 rifles to be crafted by this company and with that came the erection of two of the most notable buildings that currently continue to stand in Windsor Vermont. The Armory, now best known by many as "The Block", housed workers' that crafted the 10,000 rifles and the machines the fabricated the interchangeable parts of the rifles. The Block is now a low income housing  project that continues to sever  Windsor's community and it is a site to behold. The Machine Shop is now the Precision Museum  serving the community with a rich history of Antiquities and event's for all ages.
