Shotgun fired during early morning domestic argument in Lebanon
Kevin Hicks will face felony charges in court later today
LEBANON - Threats by a Lebanon man, who had reportedly been drinking, to shoot his girlfriend and her adult daughter led to a police response out to a residence on Meriden Road shortly before 4 a.m. this morning.
While officers were still enroute to the scene, the 26-year-old daughter told dispatchers that she had fled the home on foot and that Kevin Hicks had followed her outside and fired off a shotgun into the air.
Police established a perimeter around the house and made contact with Hick's 53-year-old girlfriend who told them that she had wrestled a handgun away from Hicks before managing to lock herself in the bathroom of the home.
Hicks, 48, exited the house a short time later and was taken into custody without further incident.
