Bring Your Kids to the Precision Museum—and They Can Learn History & Earn a Badge!

Submitted 5 months ago

The wealth of knowledge about machines that altered the course of American manufacturing is not just for grown-ups to discover.

In fact, it’s never too early for kids to learn how and why things work the way they do. And the American Precision Museum offers them a fun, hands-on way to explore our historic building, engage with our collections, and earn an official badge when they’re through!

The Junior Apprentice Program encourages kids ages 8-12 (accompanied by an adult) to visit the museum any day of the week and complete the program’s Junior Apprentice booklet. They’ll find out what it means to be an apprentice, go back in time with the people and machines that changed the world, and get a chance to design a "future machine" that will improve all our lives.

The Junior Apprentice Program is FREE with admission to the American Precision Museum. We're open 10 AM - 5 PM daily, including holidays, until November 1.
