When the Planet Aligns… The Story of a Dog Named Venus
Adoptable Foster of the Week
What color is Venus? Let’s call her a chic shade of “mixed
metals”. She’s a black Belgian Malinois mix with graphite and copper highlights that gleam when she’s standing in the sunshine. She is a Texas girl
who lost her family when her owner became ill. She’s brilliant, active, and
great with kids.
She’s being fostered in a family with kids, a puppy, and a large adult dog. She loves being outdoors, and has proven to be a water dog when it comes to the local river. Her strengths include hiking, recall, and learning new things. She would likely excel in agility. She loves spending time with her people at home, on the trails, and in the car.
She is sweet, silly, and loyal, and would love to find the perfect sun to orbit around!
Venus is 2 years old. She weighs about 50 pounds and is fully vetted and housebroken. This heavenly body is being sponsored, so her adoption fee has been reduced to $200!
It is recommended that you read up on the Belgian Malinois breed before you choose Venus, as they are not for everyone. She is a highly intelligent and loyal girl who needs a well-educated pack leader.
