Want to Be a Bridge-Builder? Go For It!
Tomorrow (June 2) is National Trails Day, and the Upper Valley Trails Alliance is walking the talk -- or, actually, making it possible for all of us to walk it -- by building bog bridges along the Hwy 38 Trail in Hanover. They're looking for volunteers. You can sign up here.
The trail runs through the Hudson Farm, which the Trust for Public Land bought last year and passed along to the National Park Service. Its trails, which sit off Trescott Road toward Etna, attach to the Appalachian Trail.
Seriously. Time outdoors, making it easier for other people to get outdoors. How could you miss the chance?
