The Lebanon Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the Jim Weschler Golf Classic, an early summer tournament to benefit scholarships for adult learners living or working in the Lebanon area. This year’s tournament, the 26th annual, will take place on June 6, 2018 at Eastman Golf Links in Grantham, with tee-off at noon. Registration is limited: to register, contact Bridgett at the Chamber at (603) 448-1203 or email today.
The Jim Weschler Memorial Golf Classic honors a sportsman, coach and business leader who had tremendous impact on the Lebanon Area. All proceeds from the tournament benefit scholarships for adult education in the community.
The LACC has given out more than $85,000 in scholarships since the inception of the tournament in 1992. Beneficiaries have used these funds to become educators, increase their work skills, and earn new professional degrees and certifications. Recipients must live or work in Lebanon, Enfield, Canaan, or Plainfield.
