This year, 2018, Marks the 135th annual Memorial Day exercises being performed in the Town of Windsor. Since the dedication in 2002 of the Windsor Veterans of War Memorial Statue, the program has been held on Constitution Common on Main Street, weather permitting.
From here the parade/procession lines up on Depot Avenue and continuing the traditional march to the cemeteries and bridge to lay the wreaths, while the flags are placed in advance by the scouts. In 2003, the activities were coordinated and jointly planned through the Town of Windsor, American Legion Post # 25, the Chamber of Commerce, Windsor Downtown Program and the Windsor Boy and Girl Scout Troops.
