Touch a Truck day at the MCS

Touch the Truck day in Norwich

Inspiring and then teaching is what this event is all about.

The Marion Cross School Parking Lot was full of excitement as residents participated in this event

The annual "Touch the Truck" event was recently held at the parking lot of the Marion Cross School.

The Norwich Fire, Police,Public Works and Recreation Departments sponsored the program and were  well represented with  the machines and those that operate them. It was a perfect sunny day and there were many residents/families stopping by to have a look. Thanks to the sponsors who worked very hard to put this together and to the generous donations from the "Hanover Coop" and "King Arthur Flour"  described in the above flyer. Moco Cocoa participated by providing hot chocolate and Gelato from their homemade mix.

Please take a moment to scroll through the pictures below which were taken by myself and members of the Police , Fire and Recreation Department. I think you will agree that the photos tell the real story.
