In June, Cedar Circle Farm is offering two sections of our 4-week Cooking for Middle Schoolers class, open to 11-14 year-old students.
Intermediate Class – Tuesdays, 3:30 to 5:00 pm (June 5–26). Students will practice using different kinds of knives and other kitchen equipment. Using seasonal veggies, they’ll make different sauces and dips – hummus, romesco, tzatziki, etc. – in each of the 4 classes.
Advanced Class – Thursdays, 3:30 to 5:00 pm (June 7–28). Students will learn how to execute full meals. At the end of the session, students will test their creative skills, using a mystery box of ingredients to prepare a meal.
