Wanted to take a moment and let you know about some phishing emails that are beginning to make the rounds and you should avoid.

This week a new rule goes into effect in Europe called GDPR, or General Data Protection Regulation.  The intention behind this regulation, is to force companies doing business in Europe to have strict data controls, incident response plans and many other things.  However, someone is seeing a chance to take advantage of folks that might not be familiar with it, as a result, please be on the lookout for a new Apple-flavored email phishing Scam. This email looks like it is from Apple and claims that if you do not take action, your account will be "restricted".   In reality they steal your identity and credit card information.

Another hot one is related to the royal wedding…bad guys have no shame!

Remember, don’t click on links in emails (or social media links) related to the royal wedding or open suspicious attachments that claim any kind of problem with "GDPR".
