Lyme Woman Charged with Driving Wrong Way on I-91

On May 19, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a member of the Vermont State Police received a complaint of a wrong way driver on Interstate 91. Upon arrival to the area, the Vermont State Police observed a 2006 blue Toyota Prius off the southbound side of the interstate by the exit 8 on ramp. According to a VTSP release, the vehicle allegedly was being operated by Isabella Stein, 20, of Lyme, NH.
After an investigation, Stein was arrested for suspicion of DUI and negligent operation. She was transported to the Windsor Police Department for processing and released on citation. A court date has been set for May 29th.
