Linked by cutting-edge simulcast technology, two Hop Ensembles perform together, from opposite ends of the Hop! While the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra plays Stravinsky’s Petrushka in Spaulding Auditorium, the Dartmouth Dance Ensemble dances to that iconic work in The Moore Theater—with thrilling new choreography by DDE Director John Heginbotham and Choreographer-in-Residence Rebecca Stenn. Spaulding audiences watch the DDE in large-scale projection, and Moore audiences hear the DSO through state-of-the-art audio. Each ensemble begins the evening with a set of its own works—so attend performances in both venues for the full effect!
