Worth Knowing: You ought to try stopping at Exit 6 on I-91 - Smokin' Bowls
It's worth stopping at Exit 6 off of I-91. There's the most adorable little shack that sells all sorts of fresh food. The menu offers a bunch of different soups and chilis - some vegan - and sandwiches, salads, nachos, tacos, hotdogs and more. The soup and chili menu changes fairly regularly and Owner Sarah James said she'll be adding a cold soup when it warms up a bit more. Lobster rolls will also be available in the summer.
The menu appears on the chalkboard. The African Peanut Soup is awesome AND vegan
Smokin' Bowls is normally open from Friday through Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. James will also open up on holiday Mondays.
After you get your soup from Smokin' Bowls, go a tiny bit further down Rockingham Road and you'll find The Vermont Country Store, which is most certainly worth going into. But that's another article altogether!
