The psoas muscle serves as a bridge between the trunk and the legs. It plays a key role in postural health and when balanced, alleviates back pain.  This little known, but important core muscle allows us to stand tall and feel firmly rooted at the same time.  

 
In this workshop you will learn key actions to awaken the psoas.  We will explore how to practice a variety of yoga poses to create a balance of mobility and stability in this important muscle.  The positive results of a balanced psoas can be experienced as a deepened connection with inner stability, emotional steadiness, and an overall sense of well being.
