280 Bags of Heroin Allegedly Found During VT Motor Vehicle Stop
Hartland Man Facing Multiple Charges
On April 12, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Troopers with the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91, near mile marker 37 in the Town of Rockingham, VT.
According to the VTSP, during the course of the stop, the Troopers developed probable cause of criminal activity. During a consensual search of the vehicle, the VTSP allegedly located 280 bags of heroin. As a result, Randy Hook, 44, of Hartland, VT, was arrested and processed for several alleged offenses. The charges include Trafficking Heroin, Possession of Heroin, Importation of Heroin into Vermont, Possession of a Weapon While Committing a Felony.
He was issued a citation to appear in Windham Criminal Court on May 29.
